And here we are…down to the very last week(s) of rewatch for the first series! I've really enjoyed watching the whole series again, and it will be fun to do the same for the second series.
On that topic,
omteddy2006 mentioned that December might not be such a great time for rewatch, since everyone will be busy with exams, holidays, traveling, etc. If most of you feel the same way, we can push the S2 rewatch out to January (after the New Year's weekend…around January 7). What do you all think?
Finally, because I've resisted this long, and because I'm running out of excuses (other than "I just don't want to"), this week's discussion questions will be about Will Scarlett, pretty and good with wood.
( Discussion stuff )
On to the episode. Again, I'm just doing my recap as a numbered list, which will hopefully provide all the discussion fodder we need. Feel free to take the discussion in a completely different direction, if you so desire!
( The Return of the King )
( A Clue: No )
Enjoy!

Rewatch numbers are way down, so I'm guessing everyone is busy with something else. Fair enough. I haven't been doing a very good job of getting this post up on time either, and I apologize for that. (It's a combination of IRL events and my general laziness…but probably more of the latter and less of the former, lol).
( Some unrelated intro stuff… )
Anyway, on to the show…
( Dead Man Walking )
And now, it's to bed for me. Need. More. Sleep. Enjoy, all!

Rewatch is back! Yay!
I figured a week off would help people catch up, and also round out our rewatch schedule a little. I hope everyone is on board with the revised schedule. If you have any comments on the schedule (changes you’d like to see, etc), feel free to comment or PM me.
This week, the discussion questions will focus on everyone's favorite cook and ex-manservant, Much, the once-and-perhaps-future Earl of Bonchurch.
( The Much Touch )
( Peace? Off! )
Enjoy!

For those of you keeping score at home...yes, I did in fact miss a rewatch post on Saturday.
But no, I didn't forget nor callously abandon the whole thing! ;)
Basically, this is it:
1. A number of rewatch regulars are behind, and I wanted to give everyone a chance to catch up.
2. My real life has been just short of completely crazy, both at work and at home.
3. There are three episodes left in S1, and conveniently, three weekends left in October. So we'll have S1 all wrapped up come November 1...
4. ...which brings me to the only newsworthy part of this post. Rewatch will be going on a short hiatus from November 1 to November 30 to allow me to put my energies in NaNoWriMo. We'll be back with 2x01 in December (specifically the weekend of December 5-6).
Feel free to rewatch the episodes on your own and post your thoughts later. Also, feel free to continue any discussions already started. :D
See you all on Saturday with 1x10 aka Peace? Off! aka the crackiest episode of this show ever.

We're up to week 9! W00t! Feels like it was just yesterday when we started this rewatch!
I apologize for the EXTREME delay in getting this post up. I've been sick since Thursday, and all the medicated sleeping really cut into my rewatching and recapping time.
Anyway, for the discussion questions this week, we finally turn to Guy of Gisborne. You fangirls can do your happy dance now! ;)
( It's hotter in the hot seat when you're wearing leather! )
On to the episode…which I actually rather like, but mostly for lawyerly—and not fangirly—reasons.
( A Thing or Two About Loyalty )
Enjoy!

This week's rewatch post will go up a bit later than usual (probably on Saturday evening CDT). My apologies, but my real life is just full of craziness right now.

*drumroll*
Nearly 250 comments for last week's rewatch! Well done!! (And boy, are we a chatty bunch of fangirls!)
I didn't really get much feedback re: changing the rewatch schedule, so I'm going to continue with our current schedule of one episode per week. But the threads for previous episodes are all still open, so please continue your discussions/comments as long as you like.
So this week, Tattoo? What Tattoo, is one of my favorite episodes. I've never been able to articulate exactly why I like it so much before (aside from the obvious OT3-specific reasons). But I think I'm halfway to an answer now.

It's lucky number seven! :D (That's what Lucky George tells me anyway…)
I'm thinking this episode is going to generate a LOT of comments, considering all the stuff that happens…I'm ready if you are! :D (With apologies to Allan/Djaq shippers for going on and on about Will all the time, lol!)
This week, our guest of honor is Eleri!
Just kidding…

After some prodding gentle reminders from
wenrom31, I've decided to start posting my epic saga (lol) of post-S2 events here again. To avoid spamming all your f-lists with multiple chapters at a time, I'm posting only the most recent chapter. For the interested, there are links at bottom of this post to previous installments (and really, this won't make much sense unless you read what came before).
Speaking of
wenrom31...some of you are probably aware that she is a talented artist. And because she's also awesome, she designed some terrific fan art for this story, and sent them to me! Not little electronic images...actual canvases!
Here is a sampling of her lovely work. (There was actually one more, but the scan didn't do it justice, so I might take a picture of the framed masterpiece on my wall instead!)

Now onto the story...

First, sorry for the extreme tardiness in getting this post up. We had a bunch of guests over, and I seriously underestimated the amount of time it would take to watch and recap this episode.
Second, thanks for your patience. :D
It's rewatch weekend, and the sixth episode is the charm. (Not really, but I'm running out of things to say featuring numbers. Next week, Shakespeare quotes, lol).
We had a whopping 170 comments (and counting) for last week's rewatch! I want to thank all of you, because if it wasn't for your enthusiasm, I would have given up after 1x02, probably.
Do also check out
mattyroh07's Allan icons from 1x05, when you get a chance. (There's a link in the comments to last week's rewatch, and a crosspost at
robinhoodbbc)
This week's discussion puts Sheriff Vaysey on our pseudopsych couch…
( Deconstructing Vaysey )
Finally, here is my freshly-written recap. Long and rambly recap is long and rambly.
( The Taxman Cometh )
Enjoy!

It's finally here, the episode rewatch week you've all been waiting for. Week 5 FTW!!
Same stuff as always, you know the drill.
In honor of the arrival of one of my favorite cast members, this week's discussion is all about Djaq:
( Djaq-in-the-(discussion)-box )
In the interests of full disclosure (and in case any of you have been living under a rock and don't already know this), the original point of this rewatch was to indulge my love of the Squeesome Threesome (© Biancaneve), aka Will, Allan and Djaq. And with this episode, my OT3 is complete, and the squeeing can begin in earnest! ;)
( Turk Flu )
Enjoy!

We're up to week 4. Time flies when you're having fun!! ;)
(Again, apologies for getting this post up so late. Minor crisis involving my 21-month old...toddlers!).
Thanks to everyone who re-watched last week, and took time to review, comment and share their general thoughts here. I've really been enjoying the discussions.
Meet the new "rules", same as the old "rules"...
Please post your snark, squee-of-the-instant and/or not-so-instant variety, etc. in a comment to this post. (You can also just leave links to content at other journals, if you prefer).
If you're artistically or graphically inclined, please consider putting those talents to use here as well. :)
This week's discussion is a tribute to Roy, may he rest in peace.
